I don't get what all the negative / low ratings are all about. I have seen Dr. Z on 5 occasions, including an operation, done in his office operatory. He has been nothing but open, honest, helpful, professional, and pleasant. He takes all the time you need to get comfortable with him, and have all you questions answered. He does all his own work, where some could be handed off to his highly competent staff. He even did the entire pre-op appointment himself. He has a funny sense of humor, which can be quirky. it is not creepy or inappropriate at all. For that matter, that is true of all the staff. The were all consummately professional. His licensed in-office operatory was convenient. It was clean, bright, and modern. I felt very safe. He was so concerned that I have the best possible treatment, that for one portion of the surgery, he referred me to a Dr at UW. Dr Z explained that, while he had done the procedure 100's of times successfully, the dr from UW had performed 1000's of them, quite literally wrote the book on it. Dr Z wanted the absolute best for me. I don't know what more I can say: competent, professional, friendly, self-abasing, funny...and I had the highest quality OUTCOME! Try Dr Z!

I've been seeing Dr. Zemplenyi for a couple of years now and I'm always happy with the results. He's always friendly & professional.

After years of hating my body, I finally deciding to do something about it. I tried exercising, eating right everything, nothing helped. I decided it was time to get liposuction. I met with Dr. Z and liked him right away. He put my worries at ease and I felt I was in great hands with him. Everything came out just the way I hoped and I am so upset that I didn't get this done sooner. I went too long being unhappy. Now I am excited to get a bathing suit for the first time in years!

First of all, I was extremely frustrated to observe Dr. Z has an entire library of positive reviews suppressed and 3 negative reviews unsuppressed. This didn't make sense to me, so I went ahead and sat through studying Yelp algorithm video. I don't know which is more suspicious the above or Yelp creating an entire video to refute their design. Afterwards, I dug deeper and discovered very creditable investigations into the unethical business tactics of Yelp so called, "Service." In conclusion, Yelp has succumbed to revenue at the expense of ethical behavior, not uncommon in the world today. I guess, if the government, banks and corporations can do business in this horrific manner, Yelp has the right to compete. Very unfortunate as again the consumers (us) are receiving tainted and tilted reviews. The requirements are Dr. Z would have to pay advertising fees to Yelp in order to unsuppress the positive reviews to offset the few negative. Until then, the 3 negative reviews take precedence over the positive. Anyways onto my review, I have personally had over a handful of procedures with Dr. Z. Over the years Dr. Z has also performed Rhinoplasty on my daughter's broken nose. He's accomplished multiple procedures for my wife. I appreciate the level of careful quality and patient emphasis Dr.Z performs immensely. Like many, over the years I've experienced care under numerous healthcare professionals. This includes, General practitioners, Nurses, Dermatologist, Podiatrist, Gastroenterologist, Cardiologist, Naturopathic, Chiropractors, all sorts of Healthcare professionals. Unfortunately, over the years only a couple stands out with an understanding of the true nature of their profession, the care. My point is Dr. Z is by far a Doctor who actually listens before he speaks. He does not rush you or himself to conclusion in order to cycle through to the next patient, something I have experienced from other Doctors over the years. Dr. Z is genuine and pays very close attention to details and requests of the patient. When you observe him, it is obvious he is intently listening to determine the requirements of the patient before he provides a professional opinion. It's impressive given the amount of work, time and knowledge Dr. Z has. Dr. Z is a Doctor of Doctors in my opinion. I trust Dr. Z because when I see him for my family needs he provides a careful accurate opinion, backed with factual evidence and experience that meets our specific desires. Dr. Z has an authentic person-ality and takes care of his patient's wishes with sensitivity, empathy and care. This is what ALL doctors should enter the field representing and unfortunately do not. Through my own experience, I've learned through these types of surgeries and procedures, it's important to pay attention to the aftercare requirements Dr. Z and his staff provide. I've experienced exceptional follow-up on the procedures for my family and I. I've have learned the healing is accomplished at home and it's our responsibility to take post-surgery care of ourselves with the same level of attention as our Doctors do in their offices. I saw Dr. Zemplenyi back in July 2012 for a consultation on an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Like many women who have had children, I had difficulty getting rid of the lax skin on my stomach from pregnancy/childbirth. Dr Z was the third doctor who I visited for a consultation. The other two were very detached and clinical in their treatment of me, seeing me as a job attached to a dollar sign (or at least that was the way it felt at the time). They weren't bad, but they didn't make me feel reassured. On the other hand, Dr. Z was incredibly warm and caring. His office staff was wonderfully friendly, and they made me feel welcome. From the moment I walked in, I knew that was the place I wanted to get my tummy tuck done. I walked into Dr. Z's office with a list of complications (scar from previous surgery and small umbilical hernia) and he went above and beyond to make sure that I knew all the risks, every possibility, and how things would go and how it would look afterward. He sent me, free of charge, to another surgeon friend of his to check the umbilical hernia and ensure there would be no complications. He made sure that I was well-educated about the process and any possible complications and problems. The surgery went perfectly. Dr. Z made sure to call me that evening to check on me, and made himself available by phone for any questions or concerns that I had. He went above and beyond to help me, and was very kind and caring through the entire process. I have had nothing but an incredible experience with Dr. Z, and I would absolutely recommend him to my friends. If only my family doctor could be as warm and caring as Dr. Z... It's been a few months since, and my stomach looks amazing. My workout partners compliment me on it, and they're shocked to hear that it's thanks to Dr. Z's work, because it looks great, and the scars are barely visible. (Just the scar inside the bellybutton is visible). I'm glad I went to Dr. Z, and I thank him for helping me get my body back.

After interviewing several prominent Seattle plastic surgeons for my rhynoplasty ( nose job) and septoplasty (to correct my deviated septum) surgeries, I came to visit Dr Zemplenyi. I was so pleasantly surprised by his attention to details, profound knowledge and experience, and his non-pushy attitude. He takes the time to explain the details of the surgery, and to answer all the "how"s and "why"s. More importantly, I felt I can communicate effectively with him and explain my concerns. I went ahead with the surgery. It was great, the stuff was very helpful and attentive, and my recovery went as smoothly as it possibly could. I can't believe the results already, after only 6 weeks post-surgery. I get compliments on the appearance of my nose, and my breathing problems went away. I highly recommend Dr Zemplenyi.

Wouldn't send my wife anywhere. The liposuction looked great.

I saw Dr. Zemplenyi last Friday for a consultation on Botox vs. Dysport, how much I need, which is more suited for me...etc. He was a referral of a friend, so I figured it couldn't hurt to chat with him about what I was looking for, as I have been on the market for a doctor that I can trust when it comes to injectables when it is time to take that step. I was very pleased. He was really caring and very honest in his opinion, and very understanding of my needs. He took the time to ask questions to help clarify things in my own head, and answer other questions that I wasn't sure I even had in the beginning. He wasn't in a rush to get me to commit to anything right away, and made sure to ask me the reason behind wanting to get Botox (was it my idea, or something I was doing because others had said something to me), as I am sure that people regret doing things when they don't do them for the right reasons. Thus far he is my lead choice when it comes to this procedure. I feel that his honesty and looking out sets Dr. Zemplenyi apart from the rest that I have personally seen.

Thank you dr. Zempleniy, Carrie and stuff! I had a rhinoplasty surgery performed by him and mine was really a difficult one (was told by 3 other doctors!), and couldn't be happier with the outcome! My nose is smaller and thinner than before and I love my new look!!! I read some of the comments and they were so not substantiated by facts! He performed a 3-hour surgery on me and I couldn't be happier with the result! I would recommend him to anyone and actually thinking to go back soon for more procedures! Yes, I trust him!!!!

I am a patient and I have been extremely satisfied. He is very knowledgeable, very determined to help you and will not recommend something if it is not needed. Perhaps what impressed me the most was when he referred me to a colleague who he said had more experience with my issue than he. Lastly, he does not rush, listens to you.
