Jan Zemplenyi, M.D.

Dr. Zemplenyi has been my sinus doctor for many years (13+), and I highly respect him. He's an expert, he's very efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He has cured many of my recurring sinus infections and I am very grateful for his help. I still see him at least once a year for a checkup and it's always a great appointment. I appreciate his European humor. Maybe that's what turned some previous reviewers off? Anyways, on my scale he is top rated.

Everybody has experiences to share, but it'd help if you two could provide some detail on your negative experiences with Dr. Z so that folks can make an informed decision. As for me, I have nothing but great things to say about the good doctor. I consulted Dr. Zemplanyi several months ago (in his capacity as an ear/nose/throat specialist) for a minor surgical procedure. He had to do very small-scale sewing under my tongue, and the quality of his work was exquisite. I think this guy could tailor a tuxedo for a mouse. I also think he's honest and has a good bedside manner. He explains things clearly and makes sure that you understand his recommended course of action. Some doctors treat you like an fool who couldn't possibly understand the intricate details of medicine. Dr. Z behaves like a guy who's there to help you with your health. In fact, I needed a specialist again this week I went back to Dr. Zemplanyi because of the level of trust he inspired.

I made the right choice in going with Dr. Zemplenyi. The first thing my fiance and I admire about him is that he is an honest man. I love that explains everything even if it risks you not getting a any procedures. He is so patient. I never felt rushed in any decisions I had to make, and always made time to see me or talk to me over the phone when I had questions. It was a kind of care that I have never received from any doctor. We were pleasantly surprised over and over again how much care he and his staff puts into their patients. They go beyond just remembering your name which is more than I can say for other offices I seeked out, where the only time you can speak to the doctor is during your consultation and day of surgery. It was important for me to find a doctor who was experience in ethnic features. Dr. Zemplenyi is a master at his crafts, and I am thankful he knows when to make a judgment call to override my wishes to give me a more natural esthetic pleasing look. I honestly feel my face would look weird if he did exactly what I was asking. Another thing I love about him, he was willing to give me exactly what I asked if I wasn't satisfied with his judgment call, but honestly I highly doubt you will not agree with what he feels is best for you. My breast and nose LITERALLY look perfect for me. He was extremely helpful when we needed help and called him in figuring out how to do things the night of my procedure. He works long hours and has a great work ethic. Oh my gosh, we were floored to receive such care. I trust him with everything. Everyone is so kind there. From the front desk Kim and Jan, The anesthesiologist Dr. Gold. The nurses whose names I unfortunately don't remember. It was all a great experience from consultation to removal of my bandages. Leave those doctors all trying to become the next doctor Miami alone! You are just another payment to them, Bel-Red Center cares. For me that comfort is worth a million times more than any bottled water and fresh cookies.

I'm not sure this review system existed when I found Dr Z purely by word of mouth, but all these good reviews are so well-deserved! My open-rhinoplasty in 2019 gave me a better result than I could have imagined, and I'm thankful every day that I treated myself to the care of an expert. Dr. Z is straightforward, kind, very enthusiastic, and went out of his way to personally make me feel cared for. If I ever want another procedure, my first call will be to his office.

I called inquiring about a neck lift and due to the fact I live in Olympia, the doctor was willing to look at pictures and agreed he could help me. I went in for the consultation and found Dr. Z to be charming and genuine. I went through with the surgery and am absolutely delighted with the results. The office staff was very responsive to calls and emails and I never had to wait more than a few minutes. In fact, twice he took me right back and saw me ahead of my appointed time because he happened to have time. He called me personally prior to my surgery to ensure that all my questions were answered and called me again after my surgery to "check on his patient"! This is impressive in a day and age when it seems like a lot of clinics treat people like cattle/$$. He actually cares and is a very engaging and personable man. I was also impressed that he listened to my stories of prior surgeries (I have had a lot due to a childhood accident) and remembered everything I had told him and asked me more about it on my follow up visit. He also offered to come in on a Sunday just to accommodate my schedule, knowing I had to drive quite a distance. I cannot possibly say enough about Dr.Z to fully convey my appreciation for him and his staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Dr. Z!!

I only trust Dr Z for any injection or surgery. He makes you comfortable and he explains so well before any procedure and he lets you to decide. He never pushes/force you for any procedure you are not ready for it. He is so experienced and nice!! I wish I had more money or a better insurance to be able to go to Dr. Z for droopy eyelid and under eye bag surgery!
