Kitchen Plus

We were looking to remodel our kitchen, and met Shannon from Kitchen Plus at the Seattle Home Show. After meeting with 6 other companies, we asked Kitchen Plus to come out and give us a bid. Shannon's keen eye for design and her suggestions were very much appreciated. The price was right in line with what we'd seen, however the service, ideas and products offered were far surpassed any of the other companies we'd spoken with. It took just one trip to the showroom in Bellevue to choose all of the products. We were so happy with not only the selection, but the quality and the guidance. Our job was scheduled, was started on time, and completed on time. Our project manager, Tom, was trustworthy, skilled and extremely personable. He'd call if he was stuck in traffic and would be 30 minutes late, just exemplifying amazing customer service! They really exceeded our expectations in every way. Oh, and we LOVE our new kitchen, so do our friends and family. Would use these guys again in a heart beat!

We cannot say enough positive things about the folks at Kitchen Plus, especially designer/ sales manager Josh Brookshier. We worked with them on two kitchen remodels, 5 years apart. In an industry where price hikes and timelines frequently grow mid-project, Kitchen Plus lives up to their commitment to on price and on budget. We did a full scale kitchen remodel down to the studs, including design, cabinetry, counters, new lighting, plumbing, etc. We added new doors, windows, and had to add new siding, floors, and removed a wall. They handled just about everything, and completed the full project in under the time quoted and all in one month! They cleaned up after themselves daily, and the whole team was professional and quite pleasant. They hire and manage all of their own subcontractors, so you pay one fee for everything they provide (most everything in inclusive). Financially, there were no surprises. They give you a price down to the penny. Five years later, we thought of them as our first and only choice to remodel a new kitchen in a home we were considering purchasing. Josh and his team dropped everything to work with our tight timeline, working with us during late nights and weekends. We got bids from other contractors and design/build, and while their price falls somewhere in the middle, the value is unmatched. Their "turnkey" service is one stop shopping with a high end look and quality.. They have everything at their show room, so you don't have to run from place to place for cabinets, counters, hardware, and they manage the rest. The build their own custom cabinets too. We get so many complements on our Kitchen Plus Kitchen and we cannot recommend their quality and service enough!

I wrote a review prior to the kitchen/bathroom remodel being completed and thought I should update my status. Kitchen Plus finished the job about 2 years ago, and although we encountered some obstacles along the way, the owners were quick to find resolution and stand behind their products and workmanship. Recently we discovered a problem with a tub faucet we had never used until this weekend (we're shower people, not bath people). Even though it's been two years since completion of the job, the owners were quick to address this problem without any hesitation or reservation. This is what makes KP stand heads and shoulders above the competition. Granted, you can find less expensive remodels elsewhere; however, I doubt you will find a company that provides this level of customer service AFTER the project is completed. The quality of their products is noteworthy, and our project manager was absolutely phenomenal. Clearly customer satisfaction is a top priority, and I always know I can count on them to do the right thing if/when I encounter a problem. I would definitely use them again.

We used Kitchen Plus for our kitchen remodel in 2001. I am writing this review because they stand behind their product FOREVER! We have the white Thermofoil cabinets, and they look NEW after being actively used by our family for 11 years. One side of a cabinet de-laminated as a result of a roof leak. I called them and they sent someone out right away to fix it - AT NO CHARGE!!!! They even juggled their schedule to get him to my house faster so we can get our pictures taken to put our house on the market. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

They remodeled our kitchen exactly how we wanted it done. Sure, it took some back and forth. No, it wasn't cheap. Yes, I had to keep on top of everything. But they got it done and they did a great job.

They don't low-ball the bid and change-order you to death! They are up front about how much it's really going to cost to do the job you want, no BS. First rate work and the most tidy contractor we have ever had. Shannon is a great designer to work with and offered some really interesting options we hadn't considered. Tom isn't just a project manager, he is a true craftsman. Impressive work, finished ahead of schedule and the new bathroom looks great. We will certainly use their services again.

The team at Kitchen and Bath is the BEST at what they do. In 2010 we had them rebuild the entire 1st floor of our home including the kitchen, removal of 2 walls to open up the floor plan, rebuild a fireplace surround, install a large island, remodel a half bath as well as the master bath. I cannot say enough good things about he workmanship, the quality of people and the design help provided during the process. We had a detailed outline of what work was being performed each and every day making the headache of remodeling easier. We were in constant communication with the project manager and the team and not once did we feel like the project was in jeopardy. My only wish is since we have moved out of Seattle they would travel to Atlanta to do our house here!

Kitchen Plus did a fantastic job and were On Time and On Budget. Sophie was our Designer, she was easy to work with, responsive to our needs, and gave her design expertise. We wanted to do a mixture of lower cabinet reface and upper/island/corner cabinet new construction. Erik was our Project Manager. He really takes pride in his work, focuses on fine tuning the installation and even offered a great suggestion of adding corner shelves vs. a false cabinet front which ended up being a lovely finishing touch. Erik posted a schedule of what would be happening each day, as well as having a check list for him each morning of questions we might have from the previous day. The process was streamlined and amazingly went along as scheduled. I would gladly do another project with this great group of people.

We called Kitchen Plus because we had a slight sagging in a cabinet we bought there several years ago. They arranged for Craig Bieggar to come to our home to see if he could correct this problem. Craig did a terrific job of assessing the problem, determining the best way to correct it - and then he worked his magic! He replaced the hinge and adjusted the door which has worked great ever since. While he was here, he also made some other minor adjustments on some drawers and cabinets that were 'not quite right'. Craig is clearly a thorough, conscientious and very responsible workers…. Am very appreciative to Kitchen Plus and their team for their excellent service - and for supporting such a high quality employee!!! Thank you.

It was such a relief not having to deal with all of the contractor trades, although there was still plenty of discussion. More than I expected, even not having to hire the individual trades. Our project manager, Justin Matthews, was great and listened to all of our concerns. There were things like heights of towel bars, electrical box locations, etc. that we hadn't talked about with the KP planner. I little more help with that from the planner up front, would have helped. Over all, a good experience. It was inexpensive, but done to our satisfaction.
