Dr. Zemplenyi is amazing. He is very friendly, accommodating, and really knows what he is doing. I am so happy with the results of my surgery and overall experience! Thanks Dr. Z.
The office staff is highly professional and just wonderful. Dr. Zemplenyi has an easy-going nature that immediately puts a patient at ease. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and at no time did I feel pressured to receive treatments beyond what I originally requested...which was a filler. I will absolutely return!
I did quite a bit of research for a procedure I have wanted for quite some time. I visited a number of other doctors, who were pretty good doctors themselves. But my consultation with Dr. Z was wonderful. I left knowing that he was the doctor I wanted to go with. Not only did he give up a Saturday morning to meet with me, which NO other surgeon was willing to do, but every time I had questions and I called in his staff was so friendly and helpful. They never once made me feel like I was bothering them. Even on the day of my surgery everyone was so kind, had wonderful bedside manner, and did everything they could to make me feel calm and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Z and his entire staff. They are a wonderful group. :)
I'm not sure why my review was filtered, and so I've re-written this and am happy and willing to provide verification of the facts- I have all of the invoices from services provided to me. I also have pics of my progress, I can provide any of this to verify validity. It would be a real disservice to Yelpers like myself who refer to these admissions, trying to make informed decisions... we need this kind of crucial information to assist with that process. I've had first hand experience with this doctor and would like to share it with anyone considering seeing him- 1. Dr. Z performed a subcision on my forehead where I have scarring, he did an excellent job and charged $350. A doctor just down the street from him (Dr. Young) performed the same procedure a year beforehand with good results (except i was left with very subtle vertical lines that have taken nearly 15 mos. to fade) and he charged me $2,150. For the same procedure. 2. Dr. Z is one of the only doctors I have found in Washington state who works with silica1000 for scars. This is in my opinion the best solution, is permanent, and my scars are nearly gone as a result of the combination of silica and artefil. Other doctors I've consulted with use semi permanent fillers such as Juvaderm which has a donut-ing effect in my experience (thank god it Doesn't last). 3. I had an area in my lip that had slightly too much filler (injected from a different doctor), within 2 visits Dr. Z fixed it (with keno log), whereas the other doctor i had visited 6 times with negligible results. 4. Dr. Z was also able to close an enlarged pore I've had for years. Several other doctors I asked said its not possible. Well, thanks to this fine doctor it is Gone! Dr. Zemplenyi gets my highest recommendation; he is the best in my experience. My filtered review has a bit more info but I wanted to get the most important points across here.
I went to dr. Zemplenyl with a groupon coupon for radiesse. He is an excellent doctor who will give you a totally honest opinion of what you need. He spent nearly an hour with me fully explaining what radiesse does as the area in which I wanted would not be covered by the groupon certificate as I would have needed much more filler than the two which I was going to use from the coupon. I read some reviews which were totally bogus - please disregard these as this is an excellent caring physician who is ethical and honest. We ended up doing work in the jowl area instead of the other area and the results were completely satisfying and I totally appreciate the time he spent with me. I had gone to another Bellevue plastic surgeon for a consultation one time and it was slam bam and out the door with no good thorough explanation as to what I needed - if and when I decide upon more in-depth work Dr, Zemplenyl is certainly someone I will go to.
Visited Dr. Zemplenyi few times over the last five years and last year decided to jump in and do a surgery (widening turbinates) . So far everything works just fine! Didn't have any complications at all, not even worsening of allergies as some friends suggested I will have. Dr. Jan is courteous and friendly and ready to answer all questions. His staff is very polite and helpful. I wanted him to schedule a surgery for mid-day but they still scheduled it for 7am which, in hindsight, was indeed a better choice, given the horrible traffic around Bellevue. Also, it was rather puzzling to see him using the software from CT lab so he could see my scan -- I could figure it out either :) The software looked like it was created in year 1999! I believe the lab (which is next door) should upgrade its software right now. Overall, I'm happy that I found Dr. Zemplenyi. I've seen few others before him but from now on he always will be my otolaryngologist. And I always recommend him to all my friends.
