Dr. Zemplenyi is an outstanding doctor. He has treated very difficult scars left from a yag laser i had on my forehead, they are nearly gone now (i had next to no luck with other doctors). He treated me with subsicion, co2 laser and silica1000. The only other doctor who i could find who does this treatment is across the county in NJ, and i had consultations with a good number of them before finding Dr.Z . Dr. Z is also very empathic..i went there recently with a chemical burn near my mouth and he was as concerned as if i were his own family member, made several calls and gave me a care package and instructions with a couple more items to purchase at through the pharmacy. I am fine now but the level of genuine care he showed was humbling. I've also sent a friend to him who had 3 other dr's do botox resulting in droopy lids. Dr. Z was the first that did it right. She will only go to him now. She sent a friend of hers who's also now a convert.Bottom line, Dr. Z is one of the best dr's of his kind that i've met (and i've met several to try to deal with my scars), he's also quite innovative and was able to cauterize a protruding vein in my forehead using a technique that another dr called 'brilliant', in fact she was going to contact him for more info about how he did it. The vein has not come back and it's been nearly a year. Not only that but the price to do it was half the price of another more aggressive procedure which he did not feel was the best choice. So to say i trust him and his judgement would be an understatement.He also listens carefully, is very observant and goes over all the options with you including pros and cons of each before proceeding.Dr. Z is an exemplary doctor who gets my highest possible recommendation.
I just came back from my follow up with Dr. Zemplenyi and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. A lot of plastic surgeons out there are just there to make money but I have always felt that he really cares more about his patients than money. He is personable and kind and I have always felt comfortable with him, something I could not say about every doctor I've seen. I would recommend him without reservation to my family and friends.
